Who Encourages You?

Today we watched a video on encouragement. It had a boy giving a funny pep talk and the message was basically do not give up and he gave a reference to Michael Jordan. He said if Michael Jordan gave up we never would have had the movie Space Jams. So basically whats your Space Jams gonna be? I think encouragement is import not only for other people to be supportive of you, but for you to be supportive of yourself. If you do not believe something is going to happen then it never will. I am still not sure what kind of dreams I want to go after, before I wanted to be a Pro Skateboarder. Realistically the Industry is really hard to be successful in given the amount of talented skaters currently. I am accomplishing my dreams of creating a solid base with education so I have something to fall back on. One day I want to own a house, a street bike, and have a family. I believe it will happen and I am in no hurry to make it happen. I love skateboarding, probably always will so for me Happiness is my dream. I can honestly say I am really happy with the way my life is unfolding. I think that Happiness is not a destination, but it has to do with how you arrive at that destination. I know anything could happen tomorrow so I just enjoy what I have today. I hate it when I hear my peers complain about silly things when in reality they should be thankful that it isn't worse because some people fight just to survive. I guess you could say that I am easily entertained, but I like to think that I just enjoy the little things.
